This universal questionnaire is the first step in TPI’s endorsement-review process for Republican candidates and candidates in formally nonpartisan races.

Before you begin

One standard for every office.

This questionnaire measures alignment with TPI’s conservative Republican principles and public-integrity standards. Interpret each statement within the lawful authority and ethical responsibilities of the office you seek.

Judicial candidates should answer as a matter of general governing philosophy without pledging or promising an outcome in any case.

Every statement is weighted equally. A score of 80% or higher meets the questionnaire threshold.

Passing the questionnaire establishes eligibility for further endorsement review but does not guarantee an endorsement. TPI also conducts a separate review of the candidate’s public record.
