How scoring works · Every official vote was reviewed
TPI reconciled all 7,930 recorded votes and 666,462 published member positions in the official 89th Legislature journals. Routine, ceremonial, local, duplicative, incomplete, and out-of-scope actions remain documented but do not become points. Not Rated Yet means the evidence threshold was not met—not that missing evidence was treated as zero.

What a score represents
Each category requires at least three distinct policy items. The public-record total is a weighted mean of evidence-qualified categories; missing categories are excluded rather than scored as zero. Leadership & Accountability remains a separate board review.
